Rates & Payment

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna insurance, and am an Out-Of-Network provider. This (out of network) means you will need to pay for your session in full upfront, then I will give you an invoice (Superbill). You will then need to turn in this invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider on the amount of reimbursement.
All payments are to be made through your client portal or through PayPal (Visa, Discover, American Express, Mastercard) via my website (www.CounselingByTasha.com). Additionally, you can send your payment through Zelle (Bank of America, etc.) using my email address (Tasha@CounselingByTasha.com).

All payments are due prior to the session.

I see clients face-to-face and via teletherapy (online video chat). Video sessions are available to those who are in the state of Texas. The video chat service I use is a HIPAA approved platform. Clients are free to mix up their sessions as they desire. For example, if you want to do face-to-face for a few weeks but then need to do online for a session (or more), that is fine.

Couples intake session (face-to-face) – $175.00

The preferred method of payment is through Zelle (use Tasha@CounselingByTasha.com). You can pay via the Zelle app or through your bank if your banking institution uses Zelle.

Simple Practice (client portal): Every client has an account on my client portal and you can also pay. If you would like to set up autopay for payment for sessions, that can only be done if you pay through the client portal.

Online via my website (PayPal) – you can use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover cards to pay online. Click on the PayPal dropdown menu on the left side of the page (or scroll down if you are looking on your tablet or phone) for the appropriate session and make your payment.

In person – If paying in person, payment is due prior to the start of the session. These payments are processed via a PayPal card reader and accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
