RATES AND PAYMENT
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare (Optum), and Cigna insurance. I am an Out-Of-Network provider which means you can see me if you are not on one of these insurance panels. You will need to pay for your session in full upfront, then I will give you an invoice (Superbill). You will then need to turn in this invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider on the amount of reimbursement. There are other insurance companies I work with. Please contact me for the best information.
I see clients face-to-face and via teletherapy. For teletherapy, I only see 16-year-olds and older, unless you are an established client. Video sessions are available to those who are in the state of Texas. The video chat service I use is a HIPAA approved platform. Clients are free to mix up their sessions as they desire. For example, if you want to do face-to-face for a few weeks but then need to do online for a session (or more), that is fine.
Individual intake session (face-to-face/online) – $175.00
Individual 53 minute session (face-to-face/online) – $155.00
Couples session (90 minutes) – $225.00

All payments are to be made prior to the session.
The preferred method of payment is through Zelle (use Tasha@CounselingByTasha.com). You can pay via the Zelle app or through your bank if your banking institution uses Zelle.
Other methods of payment include:
Simple Practice (client portal): Every client has an account on my client portal and you can also pay. If you would like to set up autopay for payment for sessions, that can only be done if you pay through the client portal.
In person – If paying in person, payment is due prior to the start of the session. These payments are processed via a PayPal card reader and accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
